Tree of Remembrance for star children

The Tree of Remembrance is a special heartfelt project of our non-profit organization Wandelstern. Every year from the first Sunday of Advent until New Year, the tree stands in a central location in Klagenfurt and offers affected families a protected place of remembrance for their star children.

Especially during Advent – a time shaped for many people by light, hope and togetherness – the loss of a child can be felt particularly strongly. The Tree of Remembrance creates space for quiet connection, for love that remains, and for names that are never forgotten.

For this purpose, Wandelstern provides free tags that can be individually designed. Parents, siblings, grandparents and relatives thus have the opportunity to give their star child a visible place in the heart of the city.

Each individual tag stands for a beloved life – carried by memory, hope and solidarity.

The Tree of Remembrance is a sign that star children are part of our community. Their traces remain – and their light continues to shine.
